Finland’s only submarine is a museum in Suomenlinna. It was launched in May 10th, 1933 in Turku shipyard. It was one of the four submarines which Finland had at that time. It had a crew of 20. It is the only one that was not scrapped. It was totally renovated and opened to public in 1973. Inside one can experience the crowded working and living spaces of the submarines in the midst of diesel and electric engines and torpedoes.
